9' vs 10' I hope that I am wrong but I do believe that the high runs will be lower than in the past because of the 10 foot tables. That will be a good stat to keep. I hope Dennis & Bill are going to record the #'s & compare. Will be very interesting to see the results.

N/a The 6 ball can not go off the 12 ball b/c the 14 ball is in the way. Look at the real photo of the table. As for the 4 ball.... on the drawing, I can see what you are talking about but again if you look at the real photo. The 14 would be contacted too much on the side (3 o'clock position)...

Safe Play a safe by putting a lot of left hand english on the cue ball, thinly coming off the 3 ball going to the bottom long rail. The cue ball will turn up table hitting the top long rail and coming to rest up table near that bottom lower right corner.

I do believe that if a player "sweeps" the balls it is a lost of match. It would be at the top of Unspotsmenlike Conduct. Maybe Bob Jewett can add to this. He is the one to go to for all the proper rules.

Good points. Both balls are counted as in the pocket and you get two points. That comes up now & then.

Thanks Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Just got the offical stats from the league director: Some of the other high runs in the league by three other players were: 65, 58 and a 38. A tough league.

Jude, that would be a good safe but if you look at comment #12 (photo of the balls on the table). There is a good space between the 5 & 12 ball to make that combo in the corner. By using the 9 ball or without it, if there is a clear shot.

Thanks. Yes, I agree, your opponent can turn the table right around on you. I lost a match once because I chose to take a foul and my opponent put me up table "on the Brunswick". I needed 7 balls to win & he needed 11. I took the shot & missed, he won.... That voice in my head was telling me not...

Yes, I agree with you. It still leaves your opponent a shot but not a easy one at all. With the added pressure of thinking that they are going into the cluster with the cue ball. I like the straight in shot on the 7 ball. Only b/c if they do not follow it enough, then there is no shot on the 2...
