Revo owners - any difference in stiffness/firmness between the diameters?

To stay away from the technical talk and answer your true question. I fell the 12.9 was the deadest feeling but stiffest of the three. I don't feel any difference in whippiness or stiffness from the 12.4 and 11.8, I play with a custom butt with a (big pin) 3/8-10 and a revo 11.8 currently and...

Jeremy Jones taking over for Earl on team

This is what I'm saying, Im so confused... He's been around everyone else plus incubation period. Was it he started playing bad and couldn't hack the pressure put on him, a lot of the promotions and words going around were about him. Something is really really fishy.

New idea for milk dud. Leather conditioner.

The reason for milk is Casin protein, It's been known in old glue products... Conditioner I don't believe would do much of anything for what people try to accomplish with " Milk " Duds. Better off buying pure Casin protein powder that work out guys use and mix with water. Probley with the...

Are professionals supposed to call fouls on themselves?

I think if they notice they foul 9-10 they are walking back to their seat for respect to the game and who ever they are playing, I'm by no means a professional and I will do this just as a ( Pool Player ) If it's an honest mistake such as missing a shot clock timing or call or simply didn't see...

Multi Layer Pool Cue Tips at Wal Mart

Unsure, skeptical as well, the pictures show a H on the black witch you'd think means " Hard " yet the ad says soft or medium. But then again for 10 tips at $15 may be worth a try. Please let us know a review if you end up making the jump to try them out.

    Who makes conical tapered shafts

I recommend asking in the ask the cue maker section on the forum as well, Mezz wx900 is the closest to your mm specs but is still 12mm, I'm unsure if they offer uni-loc quick release though.

Predator coming out with another value line cue (Aspire)

I also asked predator about shaft upgrades such as a revo for the aspire line through their site... The answer was this is not an option, I believe this is bs, Would have been interested if you can upgrade to say a revo 11.8 instead of dropping 400 on the cue and another 500 for a revo to go...

What Cue Specs do you prefer?

18.9-19.1 oz. 19 to 19 19 1/4 ich balance point from the rear ( for me this is forward balanced as I am 5'10" ) wrap less cues for the look and feel for me. Second to that would be embossed wrap. 11.7 - 12.2 with a longer taper carbon shaft right now. 12mm is my happy point right now, medium to...

Predator coming out with another value line cue (Aspire)

Appon research looks like its been out over seas already, that shat is 12.55, pretty cool! Also the cue design looks to be a simple " Jane look" That I enjoy. The pin I am reading is a " uni-loc mini radial joint!" My curiosity is peaked on if the new mini joint " One shaft " will work on...

How do you guys handle the loud music at pool halls?

If it's the type of music, put in some money to play your own, if its strictly the noise then if possible ask the owner to turn it down towards your end of the hall. I was able to do this at my local hall, but had to ask the owner to turn it up...

"Upgrading" from a Diamond to a Valley...

Keep the diamond, I play on everything from my modified Brunswick 8 foot. To a Vally coin table at some local bars, and diamonds at a local pool hall. Just get warmed up on what you using for the night. Your best be is to just buy a heavier cue ball to practice with before going out for the...
