    FORTIS Owners?

That sounds like It would be hella fun! Both bacote and zibra wood have great tone to them should make for a great player. I was also thinking of potentially going the traveler series direction possibly.

The rogue, I may be biased but I had a 11.8 it was the worst and deadest shaft I have ever played with, every shot felt forced, Thought thats just my honest opinion. The rough shaft is well made and solid, but its lack of fiscally and vocal feedback had me second guessing many shots.

    FORTIS Owners?

W Its Wonderful! It's a louder shaft but I don't mind that vocal feedback at all, and the performance is best I have played with out of all the carbon shafts. If you have a revo or any very low deflection shaft you shouldn't need to adjust at all. The shaft takes parallel English very well...

    Black Ferrules

Juma comes to mind it is available in black, if you want a nice finish good hitting ferrule, not to hard not to soft. I am personally really enjoying my Tiger fortis shaft and that ferrule/vault plate is bright orange. The orange gives great sighting feedback compared to the light reflection...

Anyone Use A Rhino Carbon Fiber Shaft?

I had gotten the raven and within a few shots and inspection repackaged it up and shipped it back for a refund. The 11.8 shaft was inconstant taper and at its thinest point at the bottom of the pro taper where the two tapers meet... also 11.8 at the tip and ferrule and instantly jumped to 12.25...

    FORTIS Owners?

Oh no worries, I totally agree and $600 is a hard penny to drop on a whim, but I have yet to hear a bad review, although there isn't much info out there. If I get one ill do a solid write up forsake like I did on that Jacoby v4, I like the idea on the weave non directional on the tiger, looks...

    FORTIS Owners?

Great review, and that is perfect I prefer my shafts to be within 3.7 at the low side and 3.8 high side! I think I will be treating myself to either just the shaft or a full tiger cue in march for my birthday hahahaha.

Thanks for the review, I have an engage, the thread was asking about the Fortis carbon shaft by Tiger cues.

    Your favorite pin & why?

3/8-10 modified/custom or radial. Most consistent, easy to find and swap shafts from cue to cue. Also has the best feel IMHO.

    FORTIS Owners?

For those that own the Fortis shaft by tiger cues, Im interested in the pro 12mm may even end up getting a full Tiger cue. How does the shaft compare to the Becue engage 11.8, Jacoby black v4 11.8, cynergy? Also any one got some specs such as weight? Thank you! March 7th 2024 Review: Its...

UPDATE: Some photo's of that Micarta vault/ferrule, the void opening at the top side is then filled with wood to keep even more weight down. I have also had great luck doing this modification to the cynergy shaft with Juma and Tomahawk. Current tip is a "Select Medium firm" Elk master, one of my...

    Searing Cue

Get it, tell him how you feel! I agree 4 years is ouch especially the quality and price point of the cues we invest our money in.

    C. J. Wiley - A Touch of Inside

I mess around with it every once in awhile and seems to work well on certain shots. But really Ive been just trying to use my eyes lately, see the line and contact point and stroke, you know play the game. Sometimes I find myself out of stroke and then I go back to fundaments or trying things...

    Opinions on this cue.

I got a 11.8 shipped it back immediately the same day for a refund, though you said you don't care about deflection, well this shaft deflected more than a maple shaft. That was just my experience with it also the shafts tapper was inconsistent. I have heard decent reviews on the break cues though.

Funny you say Ironically because no I do that same kind of weight saving " hack" with a hybrid Vplat with it being hallow in the stem in the shaft and filling the void at the top with a wood plug. Plus Micarta is second lightest only to tomahawk and then wood of course. My whole Vplate is only...
