Similar problem in my neck of the woods. Whats better than a day of pool for a few bucks? Ours was Sunday 8 ball and didn't last, too bad.

I will be setting up a pretested GCIII soon. The table has some miles on it for sure. What would be the best way to restore the metal parts of the table. I cleaned a small part of one with some Brasso but It's scarry the difference that it came out.
