Gorina Granito Basalt Used for a year and replaced with Simonis.. I have the bed cloth and enough new cloth for 2 rails. You would need to buy enough of the same cloth for 4 other rails... Its yours for the cost of shipping. Let me know. Glen can tell you about Gorina... good cloth, just...

Outstanding Chicago Table Mechanic – (There is a God) Brunswick GCIII

Jerimy Chambers 708.574.9888 - is one of the best kept secrets in Chicago for experienced high quality table work. I originally had my table setup by an unnamed local mechanic installing Granito Basalt Cloth from Gorina. I got the cloth for free as part of the cost of the table when I bought...

Bought 3 so far Bought two for my Ray Schuler and one for my Tim Scruggs sneaky pete. I love them it. Now that I have a stick I love again and my soft kamiu on it, I'm miserable. I no longer have an excuse to play as bad as I do! Ted PS Lots of correspondence and time working with Doc...

Restretch Gorina Basalt (Loose) or replace with 860HR

Thank you Glen! Oh, and incredible memory on every detail, of even the OTHER mechanic's work on my table. I was hoping that "in a couple of weeks" you could come by, re-level my slates and put that tournament blue 860HR on. Got plenty of time, 2012, np. After I iron that cloth my guess it...

Restretch Gorina Basalt (Loose) or replace with 860HR

The above statement together with my picture, is likely not a good combination. Let me just say that the damp cloth has not been used for like 5 month on the cloth. I saw it being done in a local pool hall... thought it would be good. (I know.. a no no)

    Installing Worsted Wool Cloth

I might buy the DVD's just to see that. And regarding Glen's watch... months off? Brutal... lol

Restretch Gorina Basalt (Loose) or replace with 860HR

I have Gorina Basalt installed on my GCIII and it is loose. When putting my bridge hand on the table, it often shifts. To me, that is too loose IMO. It was installed about a year ago. If it were stretched properly (or installed properly for that matter the freaking first time) wouldn't it be...

    Your greatest Shark Tactics

Never again... but it does work I was playing a guy who was clearly better than me in a week day 9 ball handicapped tournament. This kid had a 10 handicap and I was like a 3. He was loose and running racks. I started talking to a rail bird, the pool room owners son actually. I asked if he...

    Your opinions and comments please...

Please Please take this off line. Glen is loved and respected on this forum. His work is beyond question and his fees are ridiculously cheap for the knowledge that he has acquired. I understand your concern. I am a fortunate owner of a table he has worked on. Trust me you will be satisfied...

Diamond question what exactly is a pro cut pocket?

And thank God you don't have to be a Pro to own a table with Pro cut pockets. Josh would have packed up my table and took it back home with him. ;-)

Whats the best tip these days

Does this appear to be an Old Moori? Bought back in 2000 Does anyone one know? Either a Tiger or an old Moori. Bought it back in 2000 and just found it again... can't remember what it is. I do know Moori's were hard to find back then.

Will GCI slates fit on a GCIII?

The pockets are tight as a tick. Again RCK came in and did and excellent rail job. all pockets are 4 1/2. I'm good with that. I was looking at resale value regarding current slates not matching. The guy i'm working with has a slew of GCI slates. He may shoot me a deal.

Will GCI slates fit on a GCIII?

Thank you Hey I appreciate both your feed back. In researching here online, some people liked the brunstone better than the slate. I should just be happy with what I have i guess.

Will GCI slates fit on a GCIII?

Will GCI's slates fit on a GCIII ? Are GCI's good slates? I thought they were brownstone or something? I may have a line on GCI slates to fit my GCIII table. I now have a GCII with 1 Brunswick slate and 2 "other" slates. (Long story) I have a mechanic that says they're good and they fit...
