Another vote from me! His commentary was excellent, not just what he was saying, but he has the right personality and voice for commentary too.

New cloth, TV lights etc. means the tables always play loose, especially on day 1.

I think thats exactly the case, there was no official definition of when it started (i.e. is it when the player gets out of their seat, when they approach the table or when they physically strike the cue ball for the first time). Some as you rightly say, therefore would argue the break itself...

Agreed, in the last hour or so Team USA have been by far the better team, playing some really nice shots under pressure. Looks like it could go to 6-6 with USA having all the momentum!

What I find odd is that its not technically difficult shots being missed by Team USA, but 'pressure' shots (i.e. in the deciding rack). That is just about acceptable in the Mosconi Cup...but not under a Railway Arch in South London with no fans and a couple of cameras!!!

Its changed a bit I'd imagine (they had a big re-modelling about 5-10 years ago..can't remember exactly when). Its now effectively 3 levels: Ground: English Pool 1st: American Pool + 2 snooker tables (and a couple of poker tables) 2nd: Snooker I don't think the action that was once there...

There was apparently a buzzing in the arena, couldn’t hear it on Eurosport, but the commentators could. Luckily they manged to fix it!

It is only for a 147 or 155. 148-154 is not a maximum and may win the high break prize, but not any maximum prize.
