Who are your top three favorite pro players?

Woodward's early barbox tourney days were exciting. Back when big truck was streaming all those midwest events with the big calcuttas. ++ Speaking of good moves on a BB, James Davis Jr. Good battle with SVB on a valley. That last rack.........

Here it is folks, the newest addition to the family....... That little white hoppe ring at the bottom sets her off, otherwise a simple, silent assassin. The balance point is superb IMO.

Who are your top three favorite pro players?

Subject to change but currently watching a lot of: Ko Ping-Chung Jayson Shaw Josh Filler I'm a fan of lefties (I am one) and that pace of play. Chung is phenomenal on his fundamentals......

This is why we can't have nice things

Would be a pretty neat little concept, though..... Go to the smaller tourney, go two and out on the lemon. Wait around practicing(not FargoRated of course) until the tourney is over, stick the guy who won for all the cash. And all his buddies who saw you go two and out. Wash...

This is why we can't have nice things

And there you have it. The evolution of pool laid out before us. The players that aren't as strong as the better players don't want to play better players...... they only want to play who they think they can beat......:smile2: I got where I was in pool through a lot of hard work, a ton of...

This is why we can't have nice things

BOOM!! Someone with the same thought process as myself. If everyone turned on the Thursday game tonight, and Packers were giving the Eagles 3 points and a 5 yard rush bonus...... that Sh*t would be lame a-f....... Just play, my brethren. You all enjoy the same sport/game. Some are better than...

Yep, and on the other side of that coin, someone who dominates the league talent may be a whole nuther artist When the whole rail starts watching and the calcutta hits 5 figures.

The proper thought process for giving weight?

Dropped a big bag of knowledge on this post! I'll need to reference this in the very near future.

Do you make "halftime adjustments" and if so what?

Dude I'm dying laughing....!!:rotflmao1::rotflmao1: I read that in Walken's voice before even seeing the next post.....

The proper thought process for giving weight?

First off, huge congrats on getting that gear and having to give up a bunch of weight. That's a good problem to have!! What kind of weight will determine what you need to do (as I'm sure you know). If you're giving games, you gotta blitz 'em. Make it to where it's back to an even race...

This is why we can't have nice things

I remember when FargoRate wasn't yet used as a handicapping system for the games. Rather it was still displayed on screen at USBTC..... maybe to give the audience an idea of probable outcome, or for making lines on bets.

This is why we can't have nice things

Pool players cheating?? Get outta town! Well, for people without integrity who are doing this, they might have a little extra money in their pockets too....... and I know tons of pool players that lack integrity haha. To the OP: "Probably the only fair way to do handicaps"............. in my...

Update to everyone: The Mezz came in yesterday! A day early.... and yes I was anxious to play with it. So a little cue review of my thoughts after 2 hours of horsing around with it(yes I know there's a review section) This is for all you people who said "go with a Mezz!" How in the world did...

This rings true for me too. Once you find that "spot" within your playing realm that just "fits" you right... you can go on the hunt for something with the exact same specs and get some very desirable as far as play-ability.

Earl "The Pearl" & Johnny " The Scorpion" Archer in Millinocket, Maine!

Same here, if this trip was half the distance of the 20 hour drive it will take me, I'd be up there for a weekend. For someone who says "way past their prime" something tells me they could both still give Pangy the Wild Entire Rack and absolutely trounce him.....

Very well said post, J. It depends on what is being sought. In this instance I think J2pac summed it up. I'm looking for a well hitting tournament killer. Value held isn't a main concern - a genuine "player" In regards to what someone else said about staying away from lower end models, I'll...

Yes you are right, there were a bunch of threads a while back that amounted to pretty much a pissing contest about how great Schmelke is. That's why I started my thread with the opener of "time for another......" Maybe those threads were different, and the budgets may have been...
