I'm not sure This is 100% accurate i own a Ron Thomas, that's on the "inexpensive" end of his line... it's Faux with plastic cap ends...

From what I could find these Cues were most likely sold through KMarts, but I haven't seen any info yet confirming the Manufacturing side. Anyone have more info?

I haven't had the opportunity to visit Mr. Tonkin, I love his cues also, but for a short while I was able to meet and visit Tony and see his shop when he was local. His attention to detail genuinely impressed me, and are some of my personal favorites. He's a great guy & takes pride in his work...

Update: Yup electrical tape holding the test of the nylon on. The wood is very nice in person & points are dead even. Took a chance and purchased this for $30. Def overpaid. Gonna chalk this up to a l learning lesson. I typically never even look at older cues that have that "Imported" look to...

Anyone wanna speculate as to the origin? Looks like vintage Brunswick to me, Pin-in-the-shaft (perhaps 5/16x14? Or 3/8-10?) Can't tell if the green at the bottom of the wrap is original like adams? Or is like electrical tape
