    Spinning the cue on shots

Could you explain to me how the tip of a cue will grip a ball when putting any other type force on it, but not when this technique is applied?

    Spinning the cue on shots

Lol, I think you guys are picking apart the cuetable a little too much. Yes, the cuetable is possible without anything special if you want to smash the cb to make the shot. According to the cuetable, you could also bank it, masse around, etc. etc. My point is that side spin can be applied to...

    Spinning the cue on shots

I posted the cuetable because someone was having a difficult time visualizing in their head what I was describing. If you're saying that there's never any time where you've had a ball that required a ridiculous amount of cut, then perhaps you're just a better player than I am. As for the...

    Spinning the cue on shots

I don't think it'd be possible to "spin" the cue and make a shot, but a good full twist of the wrist can put the desired amount of sidespin on the ball.

    Spinning the cue on shots

I found that CueTable program, let me know if it doesn't work for some reason. The closer the cue ball is to the OB, the easier the technique is since the spin on the cue ball is harder to maintain over greater distances. I don't know why everyone's saying not to bother, it does work and it's...

    another scam

I said from wire transfer. I'm aware of the different kinds of financial fraud, but it's not possible for someone else to take money out of your account by knowing the information needed for a wire transfer.

    another scam

There is no way for someone to magically remove funds from your bank account by wire transfer. International transfers are handled through the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), which is probably more secure than using your credit card on the internet. The...

    Spinning the cue on shots

I use this on shots that require an extreme amount of cut. Say your OB is parked infront of the side pocket while your cue ball is parked infront of the corner on the same side, yet the path down the rail to the other corner is obstructed and you have no other shot. If you're using a regular...

hi john kucharo go get some money

Just to recap... So Jon Kucharo badmouths John Schmidt, and not just to some friends/fans but to Schmidt's SPONSOR, more than likely in an attempt to steal away said sponsor. Not only that, but Kucharo was all chummy with Schmidt earlier like they were friends. Schmidt relates the story on...

Any cues with birdseye and curly?

While I like the honey colored stain, I've really got my heart set on blue. I might try my hand with photoshop here in a little bit to see what I get.

I think he wanted 2nd opinions on whether he was over reacting, and he may have also needed time to calm down, before contacting the maker.

Why are cues like this call "Sneaky Pete's"?

I've seen a lot of "Sneaky Pete's" that don't really look all that sneaky to me. Sticks that have only 4 ivory dots on the whole thing or all the way up to cues that have simple inlays and wraps. To me, a "Sneaky Pete" is supposed to resemble a house cue but play like a gift from God. Is my...

Any cues with birdseye and curly?

Yeah, I can't quite picture how stained curly and natural birdseye would look together, which is why I asked for pics. I'm wanting the top of my forearm to be blue stained curly and I can't decide whether to do curly again, but in natural color, for the points or to go with a natural colored...

    Cracked Cue from Phinmole

Two things. How was it packaged when it got to you? It may have gotten banged around in transit, causing the crack to grow. Also, why did you spend $20 to ship back an already damaged cue, especially if you're so salty about losing half of the original shipping, which was a measly $7.50? I...
