Issues with Jim Lee, Part 2.

I'd like to address some points you've made and I'd like to make some of my own. I underlined some of the thoughts in your post that I thought were important to point out. While you've made it clear that you're only trying to provide another point of view, what you've also said could be...

What do you Preffer a custom or a schon?

This. A lot of what makes a cue play the way it does is the shaft. If you're going to be using your old shaft, just get a nice butt that looks good.

Issues with Jim Lee, Part 2.

Hey guys, so as you may have noticed, the original thread was deleted due to some members going at each other. I messaged Mr. Wilson and was told the reason, which I think is fair, and was given the go ahead to post up a second thread that is something of an update to the first. Hopefully this...

Views on selling a nice cue?

I've seen pictures in the FS section that looked poor, as in they were very blurry or fuzzy, and I think it has more to do with technique than with the camera itself. A lot of people think that to take close up pictures (aka macro) that you can just get as close to the object as possible. This...

    Helping AZB and Chaz Dillon

If you did indeed pay with a USPS Money Order, one plan of action is to go to the US Postal Inspection Service and file a complaint with them. Not only will they go after just a single report, but when multiple reports start to come in about the same person, it'll add just that much more fuel...

    Cue Case mishap

It's sad that a grown man would ***** and cry over $4 because he was too lazy to do his own homework. If you weren't such a dick, I'd actually feel sorry for you.

Who plays with a Fury Cue?

A friend has one of their break cues, however I don't think I've ever seen a regular playing cue from them.

What's your favorite BCA legal break tip?

I think it's because they're under the impression that using a phenollic tip on the break can lead to damage of the balls. I guess just enough force might be generated during a break to chip them, whereas you can't get as much power behind a jump shot to generate the force required for damage.

Who plays with the lightest cue?

I couldn't even imagine what a 12 or 13 oz cue would feel like. I did notice that when I started playing with this lighter cue, I really had to focus on my stroke so that it didn't get out of line. I've also gained a bit more accuracy when making slow rolling shots, which I hope doesn't go...

What happened to Mike Sigel in Paris?

Seems like your friend doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. And like someone else already mentioned, stereotyping Americans on an American billiards forum probably isn't the smartest play either. But it's alright, while we may be the greatest and do whatever we want, we're pretty...

Who plays with the lightest cue?

I know, it's weird, I normally like playing with a 19.5 ounce cue, but I've learned to use it at this weight just as well. In all actuality, this is probably a bad habit that I'm forming and it's going to take some effort to break it once my new cue arrives.

Who plays with the lightest cue?

I've recently taken the weight bolt out of my playing cue and have been playing with it this way for a couple of weeks. I think it probably weighs in around 15.5 ounces. Just wondering who uses the lightest cue around here and what that cue might weigh?
