You actually don't have to have a patent attorney, you can do it on your own. I'm not saying it's easy, patent laws can be pretty complex, but if you're creating a product that you believe in and think will do well, it only makes sense to protect it any way that you can.

I was able to see this cue in person two weeks ago and it's really a fantastic looking cue, great figuring throughout the whole thing.

It's not actually a type of tip. The Billiard Congress of America runs a national league system that has banned the use of phenolic tips on break cues. That's why I asked for people's favorite BCA legal, aka leather, break tip.

Everybody seems to like the Samsara. I've heard of people using the WB tips, but haven't really heard much about the Pressed Ingot tip from Mezz, which is really what prompted me to start the poll.

Which one do you feel works the best for you? I plan on shooting BCA, so anything phenolic/resin related is a no-go.

I like the idea of different categories. A lot of times, if it's late at night or I'm just tired, I skip over things that I'm looking for while I'm browsing. Not only that, but if I'm just looking for a case, I don't really care for having to sift through all of the cue FS threads as well.

Can't say I agree with this, I think you can do a few things to a cue without going over the "sneaky" line. Changing the tip, taper, weight, balance point, ferrule even, all have the ability to greatly enhance the playability of the cue, without making it obvious that it's not a house cue...
