    Arimith Super Pro pool balls

I never blamed any equipment, I said they played different, I may have worded it wrong, I am going to make a habit of changing the ball sets I use more often, learning to deal with less than ideal tables and equipment is a good skill to have, being able to adapt quickly will hopefully come with...

Moving to a heavy playing cue

I play 8-ball the most because that is what the league plays here but I like 9 ball and straight as well, I think all the games require you to master different skills that will help you in the sport of Billiards

Moving to a heavy playing cue

If you know someone who has a 3" extension see if they would let you try it, if it's not for you take it off and try something else, if you end up liking it you won't be wasting your money, there are a lot of people who play with Predator cues.

I agree with that, but even a slightly larger and heavier ball on tight pockets changes the way they play, I'm glad I did this, this little non scientific experiment has taught me that I should be playing with different ball sets so I can know what to look for in a tournament/ match setting...

5.5 oz to 6.0 oz is 1/2 oz, is it not? I did no measurements until you asked me to, this was something I felt and saw, I have the reduced pocket Penguin rails on my table, I respect the work you do for the sport of Billiards, this post was about what a difference I felt in the ball sets, It...

    Arimith Super Pro pool balls

2.238 and 2.249, very close and within spec, BCA spec is .12of a mm, but it is visible, the spec for weight is 5.5oz to 6.0oz, I thought that was alot as well, I don't have a scale but you can feel a half oz difference pretty easily

Moving to a heavy playing cue

A few years back my friend and I went to SBE and they had a radar gun to test your stroke speed while breaking, his was a respectable 28mph, mine was 14mph, it was so low they had me try it couple of times just to verify, I don't have that quick twitch muscle he has, however by using a heavier...

    Arimith Super Pro pool balls

The regulation size and weight of the balls are as follows: diameter of 21⁄4 in (57 mm), plus or minus 0.005 in (0.127 mm) weight may be from 5+1⁄2 to 6.0 oz (160–170 g) 1/2 oz is acceptable but I can feel the difference in the balls, they do play different.

Moving to a heavy playing cue

I went from a 19oz cue to a 22.5 oz cue about a year ago and couldn't be happier, I'm a little over 6ft tall, I ordered a set of extensions for my cue for 9ft tables, when they arrived I put on the 3" extension just to see what it was like and it hasn't come off my cue, mass x acceleration =...

    Arimith Super Pro pool balls

I have 3 sets of balls, 1 set is the cheap ball set that comes with the Valley table I have, the only league in my town plays on these tables so I use them during league, my 2nd set is a Dynaspheres Tungsten set, they were stupid cheap because I guess some people didn't like the color of this...

    HOW Tips

Might have been my mis understanding, I almost didn't try the Recoil tips because of what I read on your website , the review from one of your customers saying how well those scuffers worked conviced me to give them a try and I think they are the best tip on the market

Are we all playing with the same leather (layered / solid) tip after 4-6 months?

I don't believe a CF shaft plays better than a wooden shaft either, I KNOW it plays more consistent, I had a custom David Tice cue that was gorgeous with 2 custom shafts, I had a "favorite" shaft with that cue, one played better, over time wood will wear down and that will change how the cue...

Are we all playing with the same leather (layered / solid) tip after 4-6 months?

Is there anything you can do with a leather tip you can't do with a Bulletproof Recoil tip? YES, lots of things, you can feel your tip change hardness over time, you can fight with glazing on your tip, you can spend time reshaping it, but the biggest one of all, drum roll please, you can blame...

    CTE Aiming

I just did the exact same by taking a month off of side spin, I learned that you rarely NEED side spin and when you do need it less is usually all you need, after the side spin sabbatical I find I'm shooting center ball probably 65 to 75 percent of the time.

Are we all playing with the same leather (layered / solid) tip after 4-6 months?

Carbon Fiber was a big change in billiard equipment, I wondered when someone would make a BCA legal tip that is not made of leather, Bulletproof cue tips did just that with their Recoil tip, I have been using these tips for the last 3 months and I have no plans of changing to another tip...
