Not knowing the OP, I thought it was very odd that someone with 467 posts was looking to buy a cue with a screw on tip. Not to mention being genuinely concerned about the balance of said cue with screw on tip. I think the balance point is the last thing he should be worried about.

Check out Ebay for a nice used Joss cue or some other good, solid hitting production cue like Mezz, Schon, etc. There are always deals to be had there. Many include cases and other accessories. You could also check out the "Wanted/For Sale" forum here at AZB. Forget the break cue for now...

I do not have experience with the WD tips but I will likely never be without a Samsara on my breaker. Tip is phenomenal IMO.

NP. I knew it wasn't one of the Joss just thought I'd add some info to the thread. It's a decent looking cue but certainly doesn't come across as anything high-end.

Hi Chris. I still get the same thing. It actually seems to help me focus believe it or not. Its gotten better the more league matches I've played since getting back into the game.

WTF would I want to pay to watch league players play? I have a hard enough time watching most of my teammates play their matches as they are dreadful. That doesn't mean I don't support them. I stay every week until the last ball drops without fail even though I get up at 4:45am every day for...

I don't buy it either. Just because this guy is a "APA veteran" doesn't mean anything. I've spoken to many of those. Doesn't mean they know enough or are capable of seeing a truly good player disguise his abilities in order to hustle or sandbag. Those who are serious players and know the game...

Roadking, thanks for posting. When I started out playing again last spring after 10+ years off it took me MONTHS to get my game back and honestly, I still don't think I am playing nearly as well as I once did. Keep at it and let us know how it goes each week. Good luck.
