    Pool Shot Tweets

When the object ball is close to a corner pocket and ur shooting from the outfield, u can make the cue ball speed up off the end rail.

American Pool NEEDS a Real Governing Body

You have a very good point. You don't see Basketball having a Spalding tour, or golf having a titliest tour. Each sport has a professional tour with major brands that sell the sports product sponsering that sport's professional tour. I think we should have a thread about Pro pool tour on top of...

    Open or Closed?

Hi Chicken, I tried to reply a few days ago but the post was poorly written. Anyways, you are absolutely right about doing what feels best for you. And while I truly believe that the entire game can be played better with a closed bridge on every shot, I also believe that some people will play...

    Natural Bridge lenght

The length of the bridge is the same (end of rail------------------->cue ball). A shorter person will have their forward foot closer to the rail.

    Natural Bridge lenght

How about rail bridge? Everyone has the same rail bridge no matter your size.

    Open or Closed?

But what are you sighting? It's actually a misconception....in both ways. What needs to be seen is there and sighted even better than most can imagine using a closed bridge.

    Open or Closed?

It's easier to pocket balls with a closed bridge, and you can send the rock to your desired area more often than you will an open bridge.

    Natural Bridge lenght

Power comes from speed. The idea that longer bridge gives greater force and less accuracy is wrong. Take for example a 170-178 degree cut 3-4 diamonds from object ball. Taking the longrail angle back for position to balls resting along the shortrail you're shooting from, is a really fun shot to...

Where's all the talk about moving to 10' tables?

A poolroom needs a few regulation tables, a few billiards table, and a 5x10 for the girls that have enough stroke to play on one.

Can Billiard Promoters develop better skills?

Yeah but how do you come to that conclusion without all the facts from both sides?

Ching Shun Yang vs. Francisco Bustamante- 2002 WPC

I wonder how strong Yang is. I watched his match against De Luna and I think he did some really complex things while at the same time playing simple patterns....and getting out. I don't understand it, maybe he is that good that he can get away with it.

Can Billiard Promoters develop better skills?

I'm beginning to think that people don't really care all that much. All these great ideas and noone has yet to contribute but az posters. Of all the members on the pro tour, I haven't seen much posting from them. Maybe I'm wrong. Sorry for the negative post.
