The bottle drill does have some negative effects. During the stroke the cue should finish down on the table - shooting into a bottle does not allow this to happen. Most current day instructors would advise against this drill but it was presented in the past as a form of stroke training. Cheers...

Why would it be 2 fouls for not hitting lowest ball - that seems silly. My 15 won't be a 15 then. I suggest keep it simple, every time you miss or scratch it is a BIH. No other rules needed. Same with spotting balls - no need to make it more complicated IMO.

It takes a while because my camera records in 20 minutes clips - so I have to join them using iMovie. You will notice a 3 second blip at 20 minute intervals.

First off - that would be an expensive experiment. Secondly, the visuals and sweeps would no longer connect to the pockets. I remember an L shaped table in a bar once - I wish i was close to it now.
