2015 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

Here is a set of 10 ball to add to the games. From yesterday, balls weren't breaking well but I got him this time. Gerry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2ptyFt2uxw&list=UU8rNnGNPTLwihnszKS4Zg2g

2015 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

Lol - yes, my sessions are not always that 'controlled' :) I never want to be straight in as a general rule - it limits position routes significantly. I also don't like rolling balls - they kick more and for me they are less predictable. I will use some spin to counteract CIT and hold for...

2015 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

Some ghost matches - I spend a fair bit of time with this guy. Happy Holidays everyone! 7-2 (12-28-14, Olhausen 9 ft with 4.5 inch pockets) http://youtu.be/E4qLh6Lbka4 6-7 (No BIH) -> Scratches were brutal in this match, especially hill-hill :) (12-28-14, Olhausen 9 ft with 4.5 inch pockets)...

Videos of Members Playing the Ghost??

The wing ball can be made quite easily with a standard rack as well. Ask Donnie Mills :)

C.J. Wiley VS Keith McCready - What's The Line?

Fact is Keith is very entertaining to watch. Met him in Vegas several years ago as he was in action with a buddy of mine. 9 ball on a bar box for 100 per rack - it was a lot of fun and the crowd was plenty interested. I grew up watching TCOM and Grady :) Wish you both the best in all future...

Free professional video analysis of your game

I got some great feedback from Paul as well - recommend folks consider looking him up. I will be exploring working with Paul in the New Year. Gerry

    Joe Tuckers Aiming Workout

I think this is an awesome test that will improve anyone's ball pocketing skills. I try to do this once a month - can't hide from this one. Must make all the prescribed shots regardless of how many times you miss.

    How About Those Bears?

I agree - nothing special about those shots, the purpose was to show how the manual pivot works, that is all. If someone makes them using another method then that is great - people do things differently, nothing wrong with this. Find what works for you and go with it. Your last sentence is...

    How About Those Bears?

Well I went to play some American Rotation matches today and come back to a closed thread. Colin - your analysis of 1 stroke has certainly not silenced me as you implied in your earlier post. If my hand moved so be it, likely something I need to work on - did you find the same behaviour every...

Are you accusing me of making erroneous claims?

    Stan Shuffet Challenge

I see the movement in your video but not in mine - did you slow it down? What movement do you see, looks like a backstroke to me :) I don't use manual pivoting when I play but all I can say is that when I do in practice or something that I never think about bridge length. Not saying it isn't...

    Stan Shuffet Challenge

Hey Colin - do you have the redistribution rights to that video :) I am trying to understand what you are suggesting I do - I never think about bridge length as it is typically determined by the position of the cue ball. From my perspective it is 100% reproducible - and if I screw something...

    Stan Shuffet Challenge

You just have to try it at the table - I agree from a mathematical sense it is hard to grasp/believe. But it works - evidence enough for me. Good luck with the system and your game.

Things that make you go.... Mmmm?

I will take 30 a rack and call out the visuals for you too :)

How to Aim Pool Shots (HAPS) - new videos by Dr. Dave and Bob Jewett

I commented on this as well Stan. I haven't been too active here lately - enjoying the short summer in Canada. I wouldn't be too concerned with some of the posters on here. Anthony just likes to stir the pot for some reason but otherwise seems like a decent lad. Banks - well he clearly has no...

How to Aim Pool Shots (HAPS) - new videos by Dr. Dave and Bob Jewett

I will share what I think. This post isn't professional. Historic aiming threads, very little info, main purpose to sell (unlike you here) and outrageous claims - be specific if you need to, no need to make broad brush statements with no facts. Is this material your own or a collection from...

    Aiming question - banks

It looks almost like a dead bank cross corner. Not easy to tell from the picture but I would go CTE ETC with a left sweep. It could be a right sweep depending on the ball positions. Maybe provide the across diamond positions or an overhead of the setup to make it easier. Cheers, Gerry
