probably a smart move. he's been playing like a maniac for over a year. wonder if he'll play the international

apparently a 40+ year old pool room owner, hardly a pro player. not finding any history that he has been, either. he wore a world pool masters shirt though

this business model has worked well for JOY tables, at least seeing how their tour gradually have been able to increase prize money / events. big difference in the competition though. predator is trying to reinvent the wheel in some aspects. noone needs that triangle and the tables are basically...

    Any action in London?

don't remember the name but there is an (occasional) WNT player from london that plays a lot of action matches. originally iranian or something like that. funny guy

dennis lost 10-2. pity because i was rooting for him. but asis is steady af. there was some controversy, i think he claimed marvin fouled, ref ruled in marvins favor. some words traded after the ref decision too, between the players.

dennis up now, against marvin asis dennis with a different toupée than he's had in heyball

    Philippine Open

unseeded.. i know he's been playing heyball lately but that is one tough draw

    Philippine Open

this is going to be upsets galore i like the setting. in a mall, noise all the time, people moving around. don't want it for all events but it's an interesting variance, and probably fitting for the philippines

i agree that it's currently skewed, but the big money events have the toughest fields and the most pressure.

QATAR WORLD CUP 10 BALL, OCT. 28 to NOV. 2, 2025

    i don't believe it!

2025 Reyes Cup, Oct 16-19, Manilla. Team Asia vs Team World

not really, no. it's not their first time on chinese tables, they've played in heyball events which is played on the same tables with rounded pockets. and they're half decent at 9-ball.

2025 Reyes Cup, Oct 16-19, Manilla. Team Asia vs Team World

are you still questioning their choice to play an event with 280k first prize over one with 20k? jesus christ. ever heard of rational choice theory?

    Philippine Open

yes, for long races i would agree. predator is race to 8 or 12, so not always long, but the chinese 8-ball comparison is fair. i think it would be a hard sell for both viewers and broadcasters, unfortunately. if it's an invitational, expenses paid, like the masters i think it's fine with single...

    Philippine Open

no disdain at all. we all know their strength in depth. all the more reason for intl players to stay clear from a one shot tournament there. with double elim this tendency will be lessened

    Fargo ratings men vs women

in siming's case she's played against men both in cash games and tournaments. so that should be easy enough to compare

2025 Reyes Cup, Oct 16-19, Manilla. Team Asia vs Team World

i don't know, i think it's team culture as well. which is difficult to begin with, as "rest of the world" is such a catch all concept, but it's hardly aided by the lackadaisical and festive approach that fedor and skyler demonstrated. JJ has proved beyond doubt that he's not a good cup captain
  17. S

    Philippine Open

yes it's single elim 128 field. hopefully for the first and only time, because that's a format that's gonna lead to 100 filipino players and 28 international players..

2025 Reyes Cup, Oct 16-19, Manilla. Team Asia vs Team World

agree. these pundit predictions often miscues. JJ was always hot on fortunski, but that didn't really materialize (other than euro titles). scott is overawed by manas and januarta. definitely very good shotmakers both of them, no doubt about that. but we've seen plenty very good shotmakers not...
