pijus with a great jump followed by a triple combo, to tie 4-4. very nice

good summary. also there is a yearly 250k first prize for the world champ, 100k for the US open winner. hard to hate on that.. moritz up 3-2, pijus with the break now

    Men's 2025 World 8-Ball Championship, Bali, Oct.7-13

seems SVB lost by the same score to hijikata. could be a final between a relatively unknown japanese and a completely unknown filipino. but albin looks strong (i'm only scoreboard watching this event, but strong scores).

pijus looked good in the last couple racks but i wouldn't bet against moritz

8-1. harry had a chance there, but nerves seemed to have got him. moritz is probably as close to flawless as he can be under these wet/hot/grabby conditions.

i thought it would favor the asian players more than it has done. most likely an all european final

very strange decision. petri makkonen may be the strongest breaker in northern europe, and it is 8-ball on brunswick-y tables, filler doesn't have as much of an edge. good on petri.

good input, i hadn't thought of that, but it explains a lot. i don't mind it, different places different conditions.

i like that one local player goes by the name rizky rizky. ameer ali is one to look out for. not only has he shown what he can do in WPC but he plays 8-ball well too (heyball)

i tend to agree here. philippines open has a meager prize fund, hasn't even happened, and florida is brand new, so i wouldn't call them majors. let's see if they stick around. the peri open had a tough field and paid well, it took some serious steel to win that. and international has been around...
