    Time for a decision update

Thank you everyone for your opinions as was the consensus from a lot of you I decided to just let the cue be and let the wood stand on it's own merit. Here is some pics of the butt sleeve finished with it's butt cap and the lizard wrap I think I am going to pair it with. Cheers Bill

    Time for a decision

Ok people let me say this again. I do not have a CNC router nor a pantograph so cutting in-depth and intricate inlays into my cues at this time is not an option. No diamonds , no propellers, no notched diamonds, no spears, no bow ties. I have the capacity to attempt to turn the floating veneers...

    Time for a decision

    Time for a decision

Thank you to everyone for your opinions and suggestions. Let me just clarify a couple things. One I am from Canada so ivory is next to impossible to acquire so that's not a very viable option. Two I am very limited currently to the inlay work I can achieve as I do not have a pantograph, CNC...

    ?? Unknown jump/break cue ?? help

I don't know the cue maker but the square drive screw as KJ referred to it is a Robertson screw something that although an exceptionally better quality product in most applications has never caught on in the United States. I would probably concentrate my search for the cues origin North of the...

    Time for a decision

I didn't get alot of feedback from my original thread so here is the cue at crunch time. It is time to decide whether to try barbells one more time or not. I would hate to have to cut off a butt sleeve with such nice burl in the windows if i screw up again but i think the veneers need barbells...

One more try and one for the trash

Which sleeve? The bottom isn't for sale and trust me I'll never be famous so the top screw up isn't ever gonna be worth anything. Lol

One more try and one for the trash

No opinions on trying the barbells again?

One more try and one for the trash

Thanx for the responses. Measureman it's not a case of wasting wood I'll replace the butt sleeve with something else but still even though it's not my means of income having a product I know Isn't my best work in someone else's hand just sits poorly with me. Call it a quirk if you will but I...

One more try and one for the trash

Hey AZers am looking for any opinions. I only make cues as a hobby and they inevitably only end up in my case or one of my friends who talks me out of them so although the "Tribute cue" is a touchy subject on here I do not feel bad trying to emulate some of the masters with my own twist. With...

    Fanelli's last works

Truely a one of a kind cue builder. He will be sorely missed. Cue progression has suffered a deep loss
