    Looking for a custom cuemaker

I guess each person has to make their own decision as to where to draw the line. I've heard the expression "grey area" several times. I was Office Depot the other day and decided to look for a pen that would draw a "grey" line. Couldn't find one :) To me, the word "intent" comes to mind on...

Thanks for the kind words Chris. I'll let you in on a little secret though...You did all the hard work...I had the fun part :) And yet another secret. One of the key ingredients to a successful project is that the cue maker be working for a customer that knows what he wants and is able to...

    Looking for a custom cuemaker

Thanks for the plug but, I've never made a "clone" of another cue makers work and would never even consider doing so...Not even my own Fathers work. Copy, clone, tribute, all the same to me. I put them all in the same category of being wrong to do and disrespectful.

Yep, I remember. That's why I only put one HUGE window in your 4 point cue :):)

    Solid Model

Many Designers are at a disadvantage in that they don't have the benefit of actually having used the manufacturing tools (cutting tools in the case of cues) and have little to no idea what the tool can or cannot do. No reflection on the posters showing their drawings as they're actually very...

Looks good in theory. A drawing is approximately 5% of the project. The killer part is the other 95%...Making the drawing work. An old saying comes to mind; "You can draw a monkey, but can you build one?"

If anyone has they would be rather foolish to admit it in a public forum wouldn't they?

    RE-CUT Fixture

Just for the record, I don't feel "ripped off" at all. If I had made my 1995 photo public and someone had copied the part then I might feel differently, but I doubt it. If I held a patent on it and it had been copied, I woulda been all over that person like white on rice. Fact is, I shared the...

    first attempt at points

TulipWood isn't always Red/Orange but the grain structure is pretty consistent with what is usually shown. I have some that's more akin to the color of Walnut. It's not seen very often.
