8 foot one inch is cake, connelly 8 1/4 is easy as is for me too. im not that old though at 29.
can(used to) dead lift a 8 foot piece over my head, havent tried for a couple years........maybe i will attempt soon with pics
same as you, minus the pool hall tables...used to do some but i dont have time nor the care for side jobs. my personal time(wife and kids) means much more to me.
Nope, haven't played much pool over the last two years, maybe 3 hours total. Never heard of that place to be honest. Unless it was another establishment that changed names, do you remeber the location
the person who setup/recovered this table should be looking for a different job, or the tight raidias of american heritage pockets had that person stumped on what to do.

If you are happy with the speed and play with them, then they meet your standards/expectations. I wouldn't be worried about tests, just play and enjoy the table.
some stores(like mine) keep good slate pieces outta sets when we get a broken(very rare) one. has came in handy a couple times, i would call around your area as i cant imagine we are the only ones to do this.
