I had a cue almost exactly like this one, but it had ivory diamonds in the points and butt-sleeve, and no hoppe ring. And it played. Someone will grab a true player with this cue. Braden

I was of the same opinion. Our state tournament has both balls, semmingly in a 1 to 1 ratio, and I have never noticed a difference in playability. I do know they do not spin as easy as a measles or red dot on a 9ft. table, but I think they play pretty well. Much better than the bowling balls...
