I had a 24 on Jan 10 in a practice session. Missed a rather easy shot to stop the run. Am playing better recently and hope to move into the 30's soon.

Our handicap system is based on Bob Jewett article also. It serves us well. One difference we have is we use win / loss differential avg per game to calculate change in rating rather then up/down by arbitrary amount. -Dennis

Joe Balsis had an interesting closed bridge also during that era. He seemed to loop his index finger alone high on his bridge hand. But the remainder of his palm seemed to rest on the table.

If you take out your gas expense, you have $22 per week. If that covers 2 games per week, that is very reasonable. In MN the league night is $10 (one game played) $4 to prize fund and $6 for table time.

USPS delivered my John Schmidt / Efren Reyes Championship match DVD today. Product was shipped by vendor with .20 postage due which held it up for 3 days including Thanksgiving holiday. The match in itself is great.
