On balls: those are probably pookerballs, regular sized poolballs with snooker colors to play snooker on your pooltable. (or may be Venom just orders coloured balls). I do think it actually adds to the trickshots. It makes it easy to see what is going to happen (black = obstacle, red = taget)...
