Need help with some Diamond options

For the bridge I would look at the Kamui, it is expensive and worth it. I bought an Anniversary with drop pockets with the idea that I would covert it to ball return and I quickly realized how superior drop pockets are to ball return. Easier on the knees and back, can break from either side of...

Hey NoddyNikki, could you post a picture of the case the cues are in? It looks like it may be a case I've been trying to find.

    Table markings for new cloth

In my experience, a Sharpie (even a fine pointed one) will bleed a bit into the felt and not make as sharp of a line as a good ball point pen.

    Best normal deflection shafts

Although it might be considered a low(er) deflection shaft, I'd add a Mezz WX700 shaft to your list of potential shafts to try. It looks and feels like a traditional shaft with just a bit less deflection and a great taper and you could have one delivered to your door in a few days.

    Diamond versus Brunswick

The better table is the one you will see at your local pool hall. Regarding ball counters built into the rails, that to me is a detriment and ruins the aesthetics of an otherwise beautiful table. Try the search function, this is just beating a dead horse.

    Changing Mezz WD700 Ferrule to?

If your ferrule is now narrower and that bothers you, wouldn't that mean the wood is also narrower as well? If that's the case, you're not going to be able to replace it with a thicker ferrule. Am I missing something here?

Pool scene- VA, MD, D.C. area?

I forgot the Cue Club in Annandale, which has 9' GCs. Revolution in Fairfax is close by when it's not rush hour and also had 9' GCs. It might be hard to get a table quickly during some league nights and if you want action, there's plenty of fish in this area.

Pool scene- VA, MD, D.C. area?

I sometimes travel out of town for work and get to see what the pool scene is like in other areas of the country and I always think to myself how lucky we are here in the DMV area. There are many good pool halls in this area, although getting to one in this traffic can be a PITA. Whetzel's...

Gold Crown VI now on BrunswickBilliards web site

Really makes the GC V look like the one to get between the two choices. I assume they will stop making the GC V now that the VI is coming out.
