My mind is already made! Been using CTE for less than a week. Yesterday, I used it almost exclusively and beat an semi-pro on a race to 4. It's only a race to 4, but still, I'm a B+ player. That being said, it does use feel, as we use our eye to first vision the edge to A/B/C point, I mean if...

Do you use an aiming system or go by feel?

Agreed, an aiming system won't compensate for these stuff, you still need to adjust, but at least, it will help you find the base line, that is for a medium speed shot, no english. THEN and only then, if you want to increase speed/spin, you adjust! I don't think any system works for all shots...

Hitting it pure...I'm gonna get hate for this but oh well.

Go grab and read the book "Inner game of tennis". It is the mental game and helps you get in "the zone"! I've been actively working on the mental aspect of pool for the past 3 months, and I've seen quite some improvement to my overall game. Pleased with that!

Do you use an aiming system or go by feel?

I agree that no aiming system is magic. But aiming system can help determining the correct line of aim and then you can adjust for various stuff (throw, squirt, swerve, etc etc). But still, an aiming system can certainly help, but won't do the job for ya!

90/90 can be used with cte pro one? I kinda thought it was one or the other! I practiced 2h cte pro one tonight and it's definately not magic, you still have to practice to develop a feel for the perception angle, but geez it helps !!!

Do you use an aiming system or go by feel?

SVB aims with the side of his cue to a specific point on the OB. Depending on the cut angle, he aims at different place on the OB. As per his "How to aim with SVB" video.

Dr Dave's VEPP or BU Drills?

I was not thinking on using all the VEPP at once :) I was planing on choosing the ones (from either VEPP or BU) to help me with my weaknesses. So I think I will use VEPP catalog of drills to prepare a monthly plan, and use the BU to assess my strength/weekness and track progress from month to...

Well, I tested what I understand last night and it is really surprising. I plan on waiting for the DVDs and practice a bit more and if I can't get it right, I'll pay Stan a visit!
