    Chalk hanger/Suspender

If I do make this, I could use a set of brass pulleys, thin cotton string, some sort of chalk holders, and a counter weight of some kind. There guys have a set of leather chalk holders that might work. The open one shown in the top right might be best but I can't see how the loop is set...

Sure I like leather. I wonder how I can make the leather ones hang? The weight and pulleys I'm sure I can come up with. ;)

    Chalk hanger/Suspender

Not sure if I should have posted this in the Wanted section or here... Does anyone know where I can buy an antique style chalk hanger? Doesn't need to be an antique. Reproduction if great for my pocket book. Maybe someone can make me a set of wood chalk holders that I could fix eye hooks into...

    Russian pool questions

Okay, let's go for a new question under the same topic here. Does anyone know where I can find a list of rules for various Russian pool games? I don't speak a word of Russian so finding the rules of games and then finding them in English is going to be the real trick here.

Snooker table game rules, rule books?

Ok let me first start off by saying that I am using a 2 1/4" Aramith Snooker set on an 8ft table. I don't have room for a Snooker table AND a pool table in my house... Now that, that's outta the way... Does anyone know some different Snooker game rules or possibly books with different Snooker...

    How to clean pool balls?

I actually am planning to build an under table storage chest with drawers that are sized for the ball sets plus and an oversized drawer for Snooker. I wonder if this is a good idea now?

    Coin-op Pool Table Pocket Protectors?

But if that's the basic idea then maybe cheap white hand towels would work better then paper towels and news paper. No waste.

    Coin-op Pool Table Pocket Protectors?

This is an odd question maybe but, is there a product out there for Coin-op and ball return tables to protect them from foreign objects being dropping into the gulleys and subway ball return? I have a few pool table accessories that when used, could fall into the pockets. Basically, some kind...

    How to clean pool balls?

Okay, I ordered "A Rookie's Guide to Pool Table Maintenance and Repair" by Mose Duane and is says this: "When new balls are new, it is quite simple to keep them clean vinegar and water, or a window cleaner like Windex. However, all phenolic balls will mar and yellow over time even if they're...

    How to clean pool balls?

Okay, I tried the Aramith Restorer like the bottle says and buffed by hand with no noticeable results. I will try putting a coat on the balls and putting them in my home made buffer tonight.

    How to clean pool balls?

DogsPlayingPool - I agree with you. Well, this puts me back on for building an under table storage chest with drawers for all my ball sets. I started rethinking when I was hearing that they needed to be kept out in the light.

    How to clean pool balls?

You know... I've read that plastics turn yellow from UV rays in sunlight and other sources containing UV rays. Phenolic resin is in the plastics family or so I've come to understand. So if Aramith is right, this does make sense. I hate this guessing stuff here...
