Does anyone know how to replace the laminate on these tables? I know it's walnut finish, but what do I use for laminate? Where do I buy it? How do I remove the old laminate from the table? How do I apply the new laminate to the table?

Funny. I actually just called ridgeback last week. They are about $30 more the standard replacement rails. Very worth it to me. I'll hold off on ordering new rails and cloth till I get some of the other issues fixed

I am thinking about building pool tables. What woods are used for slate tables? Legs, frame, top rails? I'm sure it has to be a pretty strong wood to hold up the slate.

Here's a practice putting cup turned on a lathe that someone is selling online. I have a lathe, but I don't know how to turn flat objects like this. This design would work pretty well, but I don't know 7th pocket's measurements. Wood would look a lot more elegant on the table IMO.
