    7th pocket

lol that's great! Here's a practice putting cup turned on a lathe that someone is selling online. I have a lathe, but I don't know how to turn flat objects like this. This design would work pretty well, but I don't know 7th pocket's measurements. Wood would look a lot more elegant on the...

    7th pocket

Yes they do and they don't respond to anything on facebook or their youtube account. Since the site went down earlier last year, I finally heard back from them this morning through email.

    7th pocket

I finally heard back from a Stewart at 7th Pocket. The 7th Pocket / WitchBall game is no longer available. Kinda figured. He does have a new game coming out soon. I am going to put together rules for 7th Pocket billiards. Does anyone have any suggestions for making my own 7th pocket stand? I've...

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

It's a thought. Can't beat the price I paid for this table. I'm trying to talk my dad into handing his down. He wants a late 1800s - 1930s Brunswick. I found four for him to look at between $800 - $1,500. His Valley is in really nice shape. Both these tables were made sometime in 1969. It's my...

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

Ok now it seems I need a little more research. Anyone have this table and could share some pics on here? Please help! I took some photos of inside the coin mech housing. It's missing a lot of things from my dad's. I could go off his table, but I'd like to see other tables to compare. Also, his...

    table adjustments/scratching on balls?

That's what I was thinking too. Interestingly though; I cut some black felt and lined the old pocket liners with it till the new ones arrive. This could be one of the issues as I did this weeks ago and the new balls haven't scratched yet save for some minor scuffing from the cue sticks/cue ball...

    table adjustments/scratching on balls?

Haven't been able to get that slate up to clean up the excess glue. Just too heavy to move by myself. Bought a new cheap set of balls for $25 to try and see if I can problem solve the scratches. Here's where things get weird; I've been using the chinese made balls for three days now and they...

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

My table came with a four slot, 25 cent to $1 ESD coin chute. It's a very nice coin slide. I know these tables did use ESD coin slides but my dad's table came with a 25 cent Monarch slide. I'm not sure which is correct. Original parts for these tables are getting nearly impossible to find now...

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

My dads Valley's coin slide, door, and cash box are different then mine. I'm not sure which are original. Mine has an ESD four slot chute. My dad's has a 25 cent Monarch slide that I like better. I think I will install a Monarch slide.

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

Did a little work on the table today. The cue cabinet was damaged. I removed it and took off the old wood. Anyway, back on topic. Can anyone tell me about my questions at the top of this topic? The cue ball return showed signs of having a top originally. So I made a new one...

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

I've covered all screws, nails, and staples with electrical tape to protect them from contact the raw metal before I put the slate back on. However, they still seem to get scratches. Here are two pics of the head top rail, showing what I am worried about. Here is the metal corner that is...

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

The coin mech housing looks different from my dads. I think it has been changed around. Some chipped laminate. Typical bar abuse. Lots of history. There are also two other topics I started on this table in the main section: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=257445...

Restoring a vintage Valley coin table

Hi everyone. I am starting this topic because I have another topic started that is supposed to be for technical questions and I find myself posting the things that I have done to the table on there rather then staying on topic with the questions I need answers to. Here is my other topic if you'd...

    Sheet metal fabricators?

Are there any sheet metal fabricators out there? I want to metal cash box made for my vintage valley coin pool table. I have images of my dad's with the metal cash box, showing dimensions. I bet someone with sheet metal tools and a spot welder could snap together one of these pretty quick...

    Vintage Valley parts needed

I found the same 25 cent coin chute that my dad has pictured here. Don't know if it's original for 1969 but it's really vintage. I know Valleys used ESD coin chutes, but I don't know much about my dad's. It all looks very original though. Glad I found one! Does anyone know where I can get a...

It's actually a huge shop, but I agree and think it's just the floor.
