I must me missing something. If the cue ball is 2 feet or less from the rail, don't you have to hit down on it to draw?

When I build a wrapless cue I just give it away. There’s no sense in charging when nobody really wants to pay for anything anyway.

Does a g core ferrule come with/need a tip pad? The ferrule has one now, does it come from the factory with one/need one? Customer wants a Kamui clear and I figured it would look funny to have the black pad then the clear. I looked on the Mcdermott website and couldn't find anything about a...

I had a Mcdermott with the same issue. Sent it in and they fixed it for free. The only problem was they left the new collar a little over sized so it wasn't flush with the finish. I'm guessing they didn't want to refinish it. Rodney

I always clean the ferrule before doing anything. Then I cut the old tip off and face. I like to make sure no cleaner is on the ferrule face.
