not quite These replies are nice, but I am looking for a shaft made from REAL Canadian Hard Rock Maple. It seems that most American cue makers use Northern Michigan hard rock maple stock.

Does anyone use Canadian Hard Rock Maple, for shaft making anymore?

My EK-4 is the first, or earlier version. It has a screw holding the bumper in place. I hope to have it back from McDermott in a couple of weeks.

Can any one tell me what my Mcdermott cue is worth? I may want to sell it.

Anyone have experience with McDermott I-Shafts? I am looking for a stiffer shaft. The last replacement shaft that I purchased from McDermott had quite a bit of vibration. I want to reduce the vibration with a stiffer shaft. I have studied OB and Preditor shafts. They seem to be the same.
