That was me. I was there on Saturday and for the final match Sunday. I have edited the video, adding text and chapters. I have placed it on a LightScribe DVD, with Text and a photo of Liz (the winner). $20 US dollars.

I return to play in January of this year, as therapy. I have played in a few tournaments lately, but I am lacking the killer instinct. In a tournament just yesterday, 4-25-09, my first match I beat someone that had won this tournament 2-3 times. I was not supposed to win. I was not able to play...

Are there any ladies playing in this event? I understand that the tournament is in Galesburg, Il, Billiards On Main. I have been there, clean well kept 9' Brunswick tables.

This is an interesting reply to my questions. I made no mention to painting or clear spray on the shaft. The post office weight shows that I did loose 1/2-3/4 oz.(that is if I can trust the cue makers scales). There are now places where I can see throught the ebony inlays, I did loose about 1/4...

That is what I thought. Someone needs to tell this to the cue maker in Galesburg, IL Thanks for your imput

How much material or weight is lost when a cue is refinished and is there danger in loosing some of the precious woods or other materials when your cue is refinished? Can I expect to loose some of my shaft size (mm) when it is refinished? Can a straight shaft get a crook in it when refinishing it?
