If you have enough length between centers on your lathe, simply chuck up a boring head with a live center in your tail stock. Then offset the boring head to get your taper, and leave the tail stock dead center.
WHERE CAN I FIND THIS OFFSET?????????

I have not tried either black but I think that I would prefer soft, and would like to give them a try. I understand that the black grabs better??
I like the feel of Talsman soft but do not like how they can delaminate (come apart)
I have a McDermott EK-4 that I have had since the year it was made. Since then I have added shafts and had it refinished.
The latest shaft was an I-shaft that was only played for about 5 min.
