It sounds like it is in good condition. I'd leave it as is if I were you. One owner, never refinished cues are worth more. If you do refinish I would try to keep the original wrap. I bet your cue could fetch $850 - $900 in the current market. Let me know if you want to sell.

I am looking for a specific early JossWest cue. It is a first logo, 4 point, cue with the sideways W. The cue is all maple: Maple forearm, points and buttsleeve. At least one of the veneers is blue. I'd pay a very fair price for this cue if it happend to be around. Thanks!
