I must start by saying that my benchmark for how a cue should play for my taste is Mike Lambros, for me, the hit and feel of Lambros cues is just about perfect. Prewitt cues spiked my interest a few years back mostly because of the balls Ed had in offering up a relatively plain cue for so much...
I've been out of acquiring cues for the last 10 years or so, I got really bummed with some of the "top tier" builders and brokers etc. I got the camera out to take some photos of cues and cases I have picked up recently to do a few reviews and thought I would post a pic or two of my modest...
what's the best contraption for pressing the linen? I used to have one, now not sure what happened to it, mine was simply two pieces of wood joined by a leather strap, think Schick gave it to me years ago, anyway, need a new one.

I will setting up a 12 year old Diamond Pro, this weekend, it has fresh rails, so just need set up and bed cloth done, I'm in Hattiesburg MS if there is anyone close, I would love to hear from them, I've done a few tables, just never a diamond
I owned this case sometime back in the late 90's or one just like it. Keith McCready of all people recognized this case and told me Brian carried it around a bit when they did some trips in California. Cool to see it again.
No worries, Mike discontinued these cues a few years back, they were monster players for the money. I've had two or three, they were great, but not quite on par with the Lambros customs I've owned and currently play.
Rebuilding after the tornado strike last month, looking to upgrade the pool room a little, other than that, everything is cool, good to hear from you man.
Looking to upgrade my table, so I'm in the market for a 9 ft Diamond Pro and light. I'm willing to drive just about anywhere in the southeast to lower mid-west and pick it up. Cash buyer here, no trades, no BS. I will need loading help. Thanks in advance.
