    Can anyone suggest a source for a 10-12 inch 3/8 x 16 tap to be used for installing weight bolts? I suppose I could buy the 5 inch one and weld an extension on it but wondered if longer taps were available?

    Finish Lifting

    Lots of oil in that wood. Follow the other suggestions here for sanding, acetone clean till no bleeding on paper towel(wear respirator), epoxy, and finish. Probably won't have to do this again.
