    Pink Mold?

Did not note that it was stabilized. I think it is too late for stain but you could still try it. At any rate update on the progress you make.

    Jb Rugged 4x8 review

Well, stop talking about it and do the damn video. You say it comes partially out, not completely out. Prove it. Otherwise, I see no point in this ongoing drama.

    Ettiquette - checking cue status?

What did the cuemaker tell you about expected delivery date? If he gave you a date(say 9 months), I think it would be ok to ask at about 6 mos. how the cue was progressing? Some cue makers absolutely do not want to be contacted. When it is ready, they will contact you. I would not be concerned...

    Dust Pickup for Metal Lathe

Would anyone be willing to share photos of their dust collection setup for a metal lathe? I have a 36 inch Enco gear head lathe that I use with a router mounted on the tool post, on the operator side of the cue being turned down. I considered a plexiglas box but it would seem to be truly...

    Unknown cue...any ideas?

I assume it is not signed. If the cue is fairly slim, and, if it has been refinished. It could be a Toeboy. I should have read the original post more carefully. It is too big at the butt to be a Toeboy. Sorry.

    Jump Cue ... info needed.

41 inches, 13 mm or a little over with a stiff taper, hard ferrule material and a hard tip. "I think most of the posts agree on the basics of a good jump cue but, to me, the stiff taper is crucial.

    Coring on my metal lathe

My setup is similar to Joey's, using a PVC T to provide a way to collect the dust. I have that all mounted to the tool post and the gundrill is mounted in the tailstock. Like Joey, I move up about 3 inches with the tailstock handle, then move the tailstock mount forward as I reverse the...

The elusive Balabushka gold glitter wedding band ribbon rings

I am with you. who has a solution? As an aside, I took a wooden dowel of the correct diameter and used a panto graph to cut .020 slots in it. I think I cut them .030 deep. I then used gold foil to cover the entire ring after it was parted from the dowel. I used a needle to press the foil into...

    New Derby rules

What he said. Why screw up a perfectly good game(as it is currently played)? The goal seems to be speed up the game not improve the game. If the promoter is unhappy with the time involved, limit the number of entries to a lower number. Oh wait, that cuts into profits.
