Possible $100,000 match: Shaw vs. Shane or Shaw/Filler vs. Skylar/Bergman !?!

Then gamblers must not be very realistic. They go busted quite regularly which tells me that every gambler meets his Waterloo from time to time.

    Tim Scruggs Estimation?

This cue has a clean look and has ivory inlays and an ivory joint. The wrap looks great and you have 2 original shafts plus 2 other shafts. The ring work is well thought out and not gaudy. Hold on to this cue because it will continue to appreciate in value. I think this cue will bring at least...

    Grizzly 14 inch Bandsaw

If you could choose a Grizzly 14 inch bandsaw, which one would be your choice. They have a number of choices from around $500 to $1200. Other than the 1 piece base vs. 2 piece, I am not sure about the other differences. I currently have a Delta 14" bandsaw that allows only a 3/8 inch blade(at...

    Shell Veneer Sheets

Dave, I took a strip of the acrylic shell, applied double side tape to the back and, using the panto, I cut a straight line down the piece in ten thousandths cuts till I had a straight side. Then I moved over 195 thousandths and cut through again. That left me a couple thousandths to sand down...

    Shell Veneer Sheets

I may use my lathe and take light passes until it is close to the wood,, then sand down slowly. I will have some trial pieces to cut on before I use this in the cue.

    Shell Veneer Sheets

Talked to Masecraft about this problem. They said the main problem is going too fast. Should be able to use a bandsaw, scroll saw, even a pantograph if you keep the speed down on moving through the product.

    Shell Veneer Sheets

I have a small sheet of it and, I suppose, the scroll saw was moving too fast because the stuff melted back together. I will try the bandsaw. Will need to change blades because the one I have on it currently is fairly coarse. Thanks for your help, Dave!

    Shell Veneer Sheets

Have any of you guys used the shell veneer sheets from Masecraft to make stitch rings? The sheets appear to be an acrylic overlay of actual shell. The acrylic is fairly thick while the shell is thin. I would use this in a 3/16ths wide slot cut by pantograph into ebony. If you cut this with a...

My first cue made for a customer.

Quick! Burn it because you will spend thousands in the future on wood, parts, cutting, tools, lathes saws, routers, cnc stuff, you name-you will buy it in order to "improve" the product and make your output faster. LOL Welcome to the fray. Forget a big bank account. You have to start your river...

Please Have Jeremy Jones Commentate *EVERYTHING*

One has to search hard and long to find another commentator of Jeremy's caliber. He understands the strategy and shot choices and does not wear you out with verbiage. I wish he could make a great living providing commentary. I might quit making cues to keep up with his commentary!
