Real Gambling vs Stream Money Grab

I appreciate your input. Some folks may disagree with you but you play at a high level and know the players. That is good enough for me.

    Restored to Perfection?

Sounds like a typical pool hall deal to me. I've been hanging around pool halls since the mid 1950's and, you pick the type item, someone always knew about a "deal" on that item you were seeking. When we are focused on our "desire", someone is always ready to lighten our pocketbook and...

High Dollar (Euros, Pounds, Yen...) cues

My customers play with their cues. The top end cues for me-$3-4000 are still used by their owners. Currently, I have a very nice cue about ready for finish, 3 types of burls including HRB and 76 ivory inlays including the joint protectors. The customer can't wait to play with it. He was one...

Tony Chohan in Houston, who wants to play him?

I don't think Busti can get there with Shane. Physical stamina will be a consideration and we see this affect thinking time after time with older players and in the later rounds of the match. Short races, Busti could get there but not longer sets.

    Another Name for Juma?

What I do know is that Atlas has been out of the thin white Juma for some time. I was told it would arrive in the next 2-3 weeks.

    Another Name for Juma?

I discovered, as mentioned in an earlier post, that it is manufactured in Germany by one company. AS far as I know, Atlas is the main supplier in the U.S. It is available from some knife supply folks but Haven't seen it in .125 thickness, yet. I have not found anything else that is close in...

    Cut2D Program for inlays

If I had been aware of the program, I would have tried it several years ago. Most of the inlay drawings are quite easy to accomplish.

    Cut2D Program for inlays

I wonder how many new or even long-time cuemakers, who are providing inlays in their cue, have tried the program. I started building in 1992 and still crank out some cues. I have BobCad V-21 and V-29 but have struggled some to utilize them. Gary Medlin of Gem Cues suggested the program to me...
