okay ......my other question is I have made a diagram of this pattern and I just don't see where he attaches the first short rail or what I would assume is the head rail. I would assume it is right after the first long rail that he does ..probably anchoring it in the corner that he last stapled...

the other thing is I wonder what the machine that simonis uses to trim the felt....i imagine it as a 80 inch long clipper blade .....but maybe I am wrong ....it would be neat to go behind the scenes at simonis ...

no I was thinking "wtf am i doing" as I was doing it ....but I had nothing to loose as it was a salvage procedure .....I read about doing it somewhere online and I had the clippers ...so what the hell .... it helped ....but now I am on to new cloth so it was just a temporary fix.

yes they are T rails ...i guess you saw my table in the avatar ... i guess I need some insights into the nuances of T rails .... thanks again ...I noticed that the previous person just glued the felt onto the T and recovered the rails like it was not a T .... i would assume this is not...

I have done it ....same situation pretty much ...except I had to use the backside of the simonis cuz the front side was nasty....I used a #40 blade on oster clippers ......it takes forever and eventually you will decide it's not worth it an replace the cloth.....you need to lube the blades every...
