What’s your game? You a hustler?

https://youtu.be/benhbs8N7XE I’ve been looking for old tabletop pool related games and found this gem. Anyone know of any other tabletop pool games? My list so far: Puff Billiards, Carrom, Novuss, Mississippi I found some super old references to Battle Ball but not much info. Sent from my...

    Anyone making matte finished cues?

Yea I agree Gary. The other reason I was thinking that this could become a new trend in the cue world is due to the custom car market. I have been seeing a lot of matte finishes on custom paint jobs. I guess I should just try it and report back to you guys, to see what you think.

    Are joint diameters standardized?

I just got a new Bob Frey sneaky and it plays so super different than all my other cues. I'm a lifetime solid maple shaft player but this one just has tons of deflection and my game has not adjusted yet. I shot with a Samsara true shaft a few weeks ago and it turned my world upside down. When I...

    Anyone making matte finished cues?

I recently saw an old Joe Porper cue that had a hand rubbed varnish and it just made me wonder about finishing a cue with a matte finish. Anyone seen one or tried it?

    3/8x10 question

It will fit, but it all depends on how you define properly. The idea of a modified pin is to reduce airspace in the joint and have more contact area between the shaft and the pin. So from the side of the modified pin it will not work "properly". But from the shafts perspective it will "fit".

We know where you wanted to leave the Cue Ball !

I'll be repeating this one tonight. The cloth point after the shot drives me nuts but I see a lot of high level players doing it. If I'm playing them I typically just wait for them to miss their next shot since they are obviously already frustrated by their own doing and will try to correct...

    Scoreboard App

Cool, Thanks for the response. I'll check it out when I can use the little screen. I'm already carrying to much stuff into the pool hall. Does the tablet version record your top three high runs? A straight pool league just started up here in town and it's one of the primary metrics for...

Is it bad etiquette when ......

True statement. I hate it when players peek at a shot after they just missed or tried to play a D. It's a sure sign that they are not certain of their positioning skills. You miss a shot, you walk off the table. It's not your turn anymore. Don't look at what shot I might take.

RSR-EX Sight Right Training Cue Extender

I used one recently while taking a lesson. It instantly confirmed that my eyes were not in line with my stance and approach to the shot. Five minutes later I started pocketing balls consistently again. Haven't used it again but I'm still making more shots. Sent from my iPhone using AzBilliards...

Cue Case's with PVC tubes , need replacement liners?

I did this a few years ago with an old instroke case. You will have to take the entire case apart because the original liner is taped to the bottom of tube. A big PITA, but it is dooable. Like everyone else said just get your material you can use sewing tape or glue if you don't have a sewing...

Quit drinking and my game has gone to shiiiiiiiiiit

Hang in there, your game will adjust you just need to get some sober practice in so you can find your confidence without the liquid courage. I have recently decided to reduce my drinking while practicing and playing seriously, there was an adjustment period.
