Shannon Daulton's tour puts the 2 in the back but I've never understood the reasoning for this myself. Putting the 2 in the second row certainly keeps it from going, that's where we would always rack the 5 ball in ring games to keep it from being made on the break.

While a second shaft is certainly NOT a must have for everyone, for me it is. I seldom even look at a cue with one shaft and if a cue has two shafts and one has not been played, I'll pass most of the time. If you're comfortable with one after reading all these posts, fine. But, I'd have two.

I had an original Sledgehammer before I bought the Orange Crusher. Lost it in a trade.

Before I bought my Gulyassy Orange Crusher I was using an early '70s Adam Steve Mizerak cue with no points or inlays and a short ferrule. After moving to South Carolina in '97 I had a water buffalo tip put on it. I'm not sure of the weight but I worked pretty well as long as I used it.

There is a place locally supposedly getting involved in the league. Loreejon Hasson is in it too. I've seen a recorded demo and was NOT impressed.

Still can't get there. I get a page that says 'SORRY!" and gives me three possible reasons I can't get to the site. none of which are correct.

This is what I learned in the early '70s when I decided to get serious about the game. Now, all these years later, I pretty much avoid bar table pool because it' NOT worth it to me to experience the aggravation.
