You don't have reason to think, Jack! All the things I mentioned and more all took place about 30-35 years ago. Probably before you even saw your first pool table. Don't talk out your ass about things you know nothing about.
While the law may no longer be in effect, it WAS law for a good many years. I know a former pool room owner who owned a bar and kept up with the rules and regulations. I have personally never been in ANY bar in NYS that had a pool table that was not a 3 x 6. This changed, I think, somewhere...
Debated here, HOTLY, many, many times. A lot of people today have never even seen the game played that way and have absolutely no understanding of it. I'm in favor of the old way, hence, my screen name here.
