The Color of Money (film 1986)

There were a few more big names in that movie. Mike Sigel, Steve Mizerak, Grady Matthews and Howard Vickery to name a few. Sent from my Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk Pro

Wow that's good and bad. Good he's still in action. Bad that he's pretty I'll. Thanks for the heads up. Sent from my Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk Pro

    Scott Erwin MIA?

Anyone hear or know what happened to Scott Erwin of Erwin Cues? I've been trying to get a hold of him to get a refinished cue back and I'm not having any luck via text, cell, FB Messenger. Sent from my Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk Pro

WWYD? This out is haunting me

What would I do? Cross bank the 3 and use a little inside to hold up the angle from the rail to open up the 10 & 1. Then you have a choice of the 1 next (if it doesn't get kicked in by the 10) and then an angle on the 2 to come out to center table and play the 4 and then the 8 in the side.

    What is wrong with deflection?

Let me quote the great Earl Strickland who was at my hall during the summer giving lessons to a guy from the great white north. I was checking out and hitting some balls with Earls very heavy, extremely long Gulyassee cue. I who've been a 3+ decade Meucci player asked Earl about his cue...

Cue stolen at pool room - culprit found - what would you do?

That's what we do, and post a picture of the guy in the room indicating the cue thief had been banned until x/y/zz date. They NEVER come back as the Scarlet Letter of being a cue thief is more than they can handle. Sent from my Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk Pro

    Cues for $ale or Trade

Too many to list. Please see the list with all cues, shafts, descriptions, prices, photos and online references in the spreadsheet I shared online. I am not a cue dealer, just a collector who after 3 decades found the cue I finally wanted and I am parting with the rest of my collection to have...

    An easy snooker 147

Not only is Ronny certainly not the only perfect game achiever, but here's a guy who can do it under 4 minutes. That is incredible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7_5gPX70DE

What Youngsters Want Old Masters Cues?

That's exactly what I'm doing right now. I've purchased over 30 different cues out there to try and find what works best for my game. I fortunately believe I just found the holy grail of cues and now I'm going to sell off most of my collection and purchase a few of the one name I love and play...

For Sale 2017 SOUTH WEST Cue WITH CENTENNIAL Case

I just commented on how just like in any commodity and collectible marketplace what people are willing to fork over for something is absolutely what drives the marketplace. I've been collecting cues and guitars for over 30 years and the crash of 2009 caused a major rift in the vintage...

For Sale 2017 SOUTH WEST Cue WITH CENTENNIAL Case

Market value, and availability. Have you any idea what the waiting period is on a new custom SW? Guys are on the list for years, so if you have one you're lucky. If you have an extremely nice one, you can ask what you want, believe me someone out there with the scoots will buy it. Sent...

    Them, who really are they?

I am not a room owner but one of my best friends has been for over 35 years. He's not the most technically proficient guy in the world so when he asked me to post this for him, I said no problem. here it goes.... Well, that’s it! I have to write! No one mentions “THEM”, no one notices...

    The International 9-Ball Open

Well I've attended European football (soccer) games before and honestly it was scary just how involved the fans get, I mean they're really into their sports, so it's probably just an extension of their loyalty that makes them so rowdy. Sent from my Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk Pro

    Problems with posts???

The site was having problems last night as I tried to lookup some old posts and was receiving SQL database errors on both browser and phone access. Today there are a bunch of repeated and empty posts in the For Sale forum. You can't read or reply to the thread as it says it was an invalid...

    The International 9-Ball Open

Anyone ever attend a Mosconi Cup event? It's pretty rowdy, almost football fan rowdy. It gets even worse when the event is hosted abroad. Sent from my Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk Pro

    Revo and One Pocket

I own 30 cues with varying shaft sizes, materials used, tips, ferrule, weights and feel. I can shoot great 1 Pocket with any one of them. The reality IMO is any cue that costs around $500 will play well and anything after that is just eye candy and bragging rights. I shoot some of my best 1...

    The International 9-Ball Open

Well I guess my biggest issue is either the clean screen audience is all inclusive of the scrutiny or none at all. IMO either you have a politically correct, non sleeping, no cell phone using audience or let the people who support the event by paying for a seat sit, wear and do whatever they...
