I have been using the shaft of my REVO P3 on my 8k-4 butt. It hits the same on both, but I like the way it looks on the 8K better.

I have tried so many tips and my favorite is a Kamikazee SS. I use it on my Revo and love it.

For Android I use Billiard Match Analyzer app by Mike Penz. It works great for BCA and APA score and match keeping also.

I think Corey Duel, yes he studies the game but uses unorthodox methods to do things that others don't. For instance the soft break, look where the rack is on pro tournaments now - partly due to him.

I have had many, many custom cues and I finally found the one. I use a Predator Revo. I know you mentioned you didn't want Predator, but hell if it plays great why would you want something else. Mine cost $899.

I bet most of it is mental and I believe blackjack has some good videos on helping you overcome them mentally.
