I was watching the Strickland / Hall videos and noticed that both players were right handed and that both players chalked holding the cue in their left hand and the chalk in their right hand. I wonder if they got in the habit of chalking that way in order to avoid getting chalk on their bridge...

Wow! OK, You guys got me thinking about polish and I remembered that I had successfully used Brasso on my wife's car to buff out the scratches and dullness on the plastic headlight covers, so... I pulled out an old cue ball and tried Brasso on it, and... It worked great! Nice thing is that...

Yes! I am extremely happy with the ring work. We spent about an hour "putting together" a plan for the cue and the result is way better than I even imagined. The green and silver look great together. Here is a picture of the cue during the rough planning stage...

Points line up perfect. Mel gets his full splice blanks from a good source. He has a small shop in Moses Lake, WA. and only builds a few cues a year. He puts a lot of care into his work.

Perhaps they were cheering because their player's sharking tactics were so brilliantly executed that it caused the opponent to lose focus and scratch. They seem like that kind of team.

I don't mind. Thats why I made them, so that everyone can enjoy playing those games!:thumbup:

And Also... Watch out for miscues! Around here, when the rooms get humid, you can tell by looking at the chalk. It turns really dark and becomes a pain to apply well to your tip. So, keep an eye on your cue tip.
