Not sure what you mean by "shaft from straight from southwest"? Do you mean the shaft is for a 3/8x11 joint?

WTB True Sneaky Pete - or Southwest Style SP

I am not sure how I missed these cues. It is pretty much what I'm looking for, I will keep an eye out for a Rick Howard Sneaky while I am still looking. Thanks!

WTB True Sneaky Pete - or Southwest Style SP

Thanks to everyone for the good posts and messages, still trying to decide and looking. Also, I appreciate the information on the Kersh's and I would love to have one. But I am nearly positive they would be out of my price range (I'm trying to stay under $1200)

WTB True Sneaky Pete - or Southwest Style SP

Every couple of years I will buy a new sneaky pete and sadly it seems like i always end up having to sell them for one reason or another. I have had some great responses in the past and picked up everything form Lambros to Scruggs. I am once again in the market for a great player true sneaky...

Can someone date my Brunswick cue? Also Brunswick Conversion appreciation thread

Thanks to both replies. I did a quick image search and did find a Dufferin "flame" with almost exact same design, so now I am trying to find one with the Brunswick logo haha. Yes, the cue maker added the butt cap afterwards. There wasn't a bumper and he wanted to put a cap on it to protect...

Can someone date my Brunswick cue? Also Brunswick Conversion appreciation thread

Story is, a buddy of mine makes pool cue's locally and he will sometimes get a collection of house cues in from various sources. I collect sneaky pete's and I like conversion cues so I am going through his bin a few years ago and find this old Brunswick house cue with a factory Butterfly and...

Prrof that the cost of a cue doesn't always matter

Agreed, I have never noticed any cue to effect my game for more than one or two games before getting a "feel".

How many cues do you carry around?

Rough guess on percentage 50% - One player in a cheap, one cue case i got for free when a member here needed something to ship a cue in 40% - House cues are free and readily available, those tend to be all I need to be happy 10% - Leave my cue in the car and just play with a house cue anyway

What is the best production cues you like most?

I really like Jacoby for a nice production cue. In the past I've spoken several hours with both Brandon and David, both were always nice to me. Though I no longer play with my Jacoby, I always keep it near just incase. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Aiming for pro within 5 years. Realistic?

Stop spending time feeding trolls, and just go hit balls for 40 hours a week on the practice table (not including tournaments or money games). Then in 5 years you will have your 10,400 hours in and that should be what is required for you to hit the level you are looking for. Good luck! You...

what do you expect from custom cue builders

I have had two custom cues made and both turned out exactly as I had requested. One was from Jacoby (took forever and two days) and the other was from Bill Stelzenmuller (fast turnaround and charged me less than expected), Bill gives a lifetime warranty, never over charges, and is the only cue...

    Is this a Brunswick Viscount?

It can be a little intimidating for the recreational player. My personal table for years was a 5x10 Snooker table but I love snooker and their size ball sets to play everything will sharpen you up. Your stroke, cue speeds, and overall style will probably change. Hopefully you will enjoy the...
