Purpleheart makes a good cue in my opinion.. photos don't do justice to how nice purpleheart looks.. all purpleheart cues I've seen, look way way way better in person than on photos.. the grains really stand out and the colour is very deep and rich.. Definitely one of my favorite wood...
For me it has to be DCC 06, one pocket semi-finals and finals where Efren played some unbelievable shots and was in total control.. Commentary was brilliant and Billy Incardona's interview with Efren was funny too..
I felt almost guilty bidding and winning the Josey. :embarrassed2: I have many of Keith's cues and they are top notch. 410 is almost too cheap, especially with the leather wrap. It's a bad time selling cues I guess. :frown:
I think it takes a lot of luck to use the hard break successfully. I don't think Cory uses the hard break anymore, he probably was experimenting. That is one thing I admire Cory for, he is always trying new ways and breaking the norms.
i've played with enough cues to know a good one when i play with it. :) so are you saying that you've never potted a ball in your years of playing with a predator shaft? :)
