I've only used it on shaft work, either new or refinish, never on butts, yet. All of the work I've used this coating on have turned out great. I'm about 1-1/2 years into using this product with great results.

I have both joints available in 30" but they both bave black vault plates.

I had Grey on my Olhausen and loved it. I upgraded to HR so had to move to TB which was a big change. I liked the grey better but prefer the HR cloth so will stay with TB.

2.5" ball into a 3" pocket would be crazy to watch. Would it even be possible to run a ball down a rail and drop it into a 3" pocket without rattling it out?

I like the feedback that the shaft presents much better. It does feel more stiff. The cue ball doesn't seem to squirt quite as much. Everyone has their own preferences, I play better pool with the Hsu than the i2.
