Me and my friend were politely arguing this last night. He told me his opponent got mad cuz he raked the balls. I said I didn't blame him since I don't like to see it done and it irks me too. I told him he should stop doing it since some people frown on it but his attitude was "Oh well"
My first session with this team/captain. 2 weeks in a row he bounced a check on accident. We would be in 1st if we got those 4 bonus points but we're in 4th because of it. I hate dumbasses. Needless to say this will also be my last session with said dumbass.
This is what I would do, and I have many times, though obviously not with the same numbers you have. Put up your strongest 3 first and if he/she wins, play the other 3, the 7, and your 2 strongest 5s. If the 3 loses the first match, play four 5s.
Anyone else ever have this problem? Obviously I am not a good player but I'm learning. One thing that gives me problems is if the CB and OB are close together and I need to draw it, I'm always afraid the CB will draw back against my stick. Probably because it's happened a few times. This messes...
Price is not an issue, I just don't know which one will suit me best. I play exclusively on bar tables and I'm not that good (APA 5 in 8-ball, don't play 9-ball) but always looking to improve. Just really racking my brain figuring out which one to get before I spend $200+.
Nothing fancy. I think with poolhalls, the fancier it, the worse it is. I'd want a dimly lit place with high rollers that were always in action and railbirds were always hovering around their games, an oldschool jukebox filled with only classic rock. You could BYOB as long as it was beer or wine...
Well the money isn't an issue at all but I've never been one to spend money on fancy things just to look good. I'm not materialistic, anything I buy better perform better than the cheaper alternative.
Because I've always had difficulty compensating for deflection but yeah I guess with an LD shaft I could shoot the long ones with side too lol I just have my doubts about the technology.
When I tap it against the floor, the bottom makes a noise like it's hollow or something? Also, how does one know when it's time to replace the butt of a stick? Thanks!
